This spherical keyboard results from a reaction towards the dependence with the commercial data-processing products whose logic of the interfaces corresponds to general functions and thus limited. For example, to consider one of the most current elements, the mice order only one function at the same time, function individually, and it is currently impossible to consider the simultaneous connection of two mice whose functions would be combined.
This interface makes it possible to establish the interaction, the dialogue, between the right hand and the left hand thanks to an object which consists of two ergonomic keyboards. These keyboards are laid out symmetrically on a sphere, with a side for the right hand and the other for the left hand. The possibilities of these keyboards are widened compared to the usual keyboards whose each key is related to a precise command.
++ The object of this keyboard multitouches is to equip the commands of more than reactive functions to the emotions felt during handling thanks to a field or a spectrum of command buttons which form a network, it is the kind of process probably used by our brain to feel emotions coming from several simultaneous points.
This spherical keyboard multi-touches offers a feeling of handling which is closer to that of the slip of a pencil or a brush on a paper sheet, of a physical touch on a surface. By its random side according to movements' of the fingers, this interaction offers more possibilities of immersion than those produced by an action on a simple key.
This new style of keyboard extends the artistic field of possibilities compared to those whose keys order only one precise action. Thus the program is also capable to treat the whole of the simultaneous pressures on several keys. This function interprets the movement resulting from a pressure modulated by these fingers or the palm of the hand on this carpet, which we can call carpet of command, of the causes an action different from that of the contact with a simple key of the keyboard.

Psycho- interactive design, because the human body reacts to the indications of its two dimensioned, right-hand side and left, the two hands working together, this exerts a pressure on the userÕs psychism, it produces a psychological effect, and it drives the user to use the centre gate to progress.
The interface-instrument becomes playable at this time and authorizes an activity of browsing thanks to these characteristics of game which follow a process crescendo (absorption - intensity - madness).

This playable intervention produces a choreography activated by the play of the fingers of the spectator on the keyboards of the sphere.

The types of vision which offer in general the artistic projects are for the majority of a level of activity reduced to an ambulation in a predetermined circuit. The spherical keyboard founds a pleasure of gaming which accompanies the impression by browsing.
